About RKF
Team RKF started out in early 2014 carrying out small charity drives for two years in local communities while laying the foundation for a formal set up. The Rahul Kotak Foundation was officially started in April 2016 when it registered as a NGO with the NGO Co-ordination Board of Kenya.
RKF was primarily started as a way to empower local communities, especially children, in a way that would help move the needle on some of the most pressing issues faced by those living in abject poverty. In the process, we learnt of the many challenges that students living in marginalized communities face and that is what set us on the course of working with local schools to improve what is currently available sto students.

The Rahul Kotak Foundation was started by siblings, Mansi and Mohit, to honour the life of their late brother, Rahul who passed away in 2013.
